Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Topic Drift Checker, the operator of this service. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are using Topic Drift Checker for an employer or client, you confirm you may accept these terms on their behalf.

Topic Drift Checker compares a draft against a target search query and reports, section by section, where the draft is aligned, mixed, or drifting — with the evidence behind each verdict.

It is a diagnostic tool, not a ranking service. We make no promise about search positions, traffic, or revenue, and nothing in a report should be read as one. Where a signal cannot be established the report says Unknown rather than guessing; that is the intended behaviour, not a defect.

Accounts are created and accessed through Google Sign-In, which is the only sign-in method. Keeping that Google account secure is your responsibility — anyone who controls it controls your Topic Drift Checker account. One account is for one person; do not share credentials.

• —A completed analysis costs 1 credit. New accounts receive 2 credits to try the workflow.
• —Importing an article from a URL is free. A credit is spent only when you run the analysis.
• —Failed analyses are refunded automatically as a compensating entry in your ledger. The ledger is append-only, so a refund is added rather than a charge erased — your history stays auditable.
• —Credits do not expire while your account is open. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not redeemable for money.
• —A credit pack is a one-time purchase of 10 credits; a subscription adds its monthly allowance on each successful renewal.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel, which you can do at any time from Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your access in place through the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate a partial month. Prices may change, but never for a billing period you have already paid.

If a charge is wrong, or an analysis failed without the credit coming back, write to thirdweb30@gmail.com and we will sort it out.

The content you submit stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your text, process it, and show you the resulting report. We claim no other rights to it.

You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit. When you import from a URL, you confirm you are allowed to fetch and analyze that page.

• —Do not submit content you have no right to use, or anything unlawful.
• —Do not try to break, overload, or circumvent the rate limits, the credit system, or anyone else's account.
• —Do not use the URL importer to reach private, internal, or access-controlled systems.
• —Do not resell the service or present its reports as another product without permission.

Topic Drift Checker is an early product and is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost traffic, rankings, or profits.

Editorial decisions remain yours. A report is an input to your judgement, not a substitute for it.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; see the privacy policy for exactly what that removes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can. Unused credits are not refunded when an account is closed for a breach.

We update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and will give notice of material changes by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
